Day 1 of home schooling!

For the next couple of weeks since the school closed, I'll be doing online school so every day I'll post a blog post about what activities I have done.
I will be trying to do at least  3 activities off the sheet I have been given!

Today I did 2 digital puzzles and abstract art using plants I found outside.
This puzzle I chose took me 15 minutes to complete, it had 40 pieces in it.
In my opinion, this was a pretty hard puzzle to do because all the green pieces match each other, and all the blue pieces look exactly the same.
This is the second puzzle I did and this one is a scene off of IT when they are looking for Bens old hut,
this scene includes (going left to right) Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, and Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom.
The puzzle was 60 pieces and it only took me 17 minutes to complete, I think the reason why I finished this reasonably quickly was because I really wanted to see the end result because it was something I enjoy more.

And last but not least I made a Nature Burrito,
To make this I used leaves, flower petals, bark, a hair tie to hold everything together, and some coins to throw in something different.

Stay safe and see you tomorrow!

  1. Hello Kasey, I really like your artwork because it has a fun concept of a burrito. Did you think about using a filter on the photo to make the colours brighter? Next time on your art maybe make it look slightly neater. The puzzles you did look really fun and I agree that you did it faster to see the end result. Maybe next time on your blog post add more of a description so that people from other schools would understand a bit better. But other than that this is a great blog post!

  2. Hey Kasey, I absolutely love this burrito- it's so creative! The image of the mountains you did for the puzzle make me realise just how beautiful this world is, I wonder where the image was taken, I think I'd like to go there. Keep up with the great work and staying busy.
    Stay safe. Mrs D :o)
